Founder / Acting Manager / Composer
Selcuk Bor spent 10+ years producing music and sounds exclusive for gaming media. From portable to console to desktops. Founding the Symphony in 2006 he spends his time now managing the company with his Co-Manager Matt Wiesen. Having also spent 8 years as a game developer Selcuk puts his in depth understanding of game development processes and technical prowess to good use while planning with the projects he’s involved.
Co-Manager / Composer
Matt Wiesen jumped on board early 2008 and with him he brought his German efficiency and organization. Without fail every other day something is off mark Matt is there to put it right back. Just like those picture frames that are slightly off angle and nobody notices, well…Matt notices. He notices and he puts that picture back and he will make sure Selcuk hears no end of it. Though Matt is not only a man behind the scenes. He also grinds a wicked axe and creates some sweet metal tunes.
Assitant Manager / Lead Sound Designer
Zach Striefel once held a mic in his hands, when he was very young. Shortly after that day he noted with great confidence that this was it for him. He later learned that mics can also record things and that was a game changer moment. Grabbing a diploma in Audio Recording and working in several recording studios he now spends his time producing sound effects and providing sound design for games on all gambits of the scopes.
Lead Music Director
Charles Evans started composing with computers over 10 years, and ever since joining the Symphony he has been leveraging his background in both technology and music to provide clients with the highest-quality musical results available with today’s technology. He also understands music as a performer, having played French horn in various orchestras and ensembles for 8 years.
Composer
Nick is a composer, arranger, pianist and acapella vocal percussionist, drawing upon musical influences from a wide variety of genres. His work ranges from orchestral fusion to intimate solo piano work. Additionally, his involvement in the video game industry inspires creative work in “chiptune” music. He has studied music at the university level, scored short film, animation and game titles, produced orchestral arrangements, performed live and more. His belief is that a good score should be great in its own right, and never generic or forgettable.
Composer
Martin Köhler has always been a fan of energyfilled, synth driven music and started producing at age 11. Music is supposed to enhance a gaming experience and that’s what this guy is all about. The melodies this man creates definetly makes up for the lack of facial-hair.
